The MGC Hygro Thermo Pen quickly measures humidity and temperature in a property and is easy to carry as it simply clips in to a pocket for convenience.

INSTRUMENT OPERATION - Insert the battery into the battery compartment located at the end of unit and press the ON/OFF button on the front of the instrument. The instrument will perform a self-test, and within five seconds the ambient readings will be displayed. The unit is switched on/off by pressing the button located on the front. The instrument monitors the humidity and         temperature simultaneously.

MAX/MIN MEMORY FUNCTION - To display the maximum reading press the MAX/MIN button located at the back of the unit and a 'Max' symbol will be displayed. Press the MAX/MIN button again to display the minimum reading and a 'Min' symbol will be displayed. To return to normal readings press the MAX/MIN button again.To clear the max/min temperature memory, press the MAX/MIN button for three seconds or turn the instrument off. Please note: maximum and        minimum readings are not saved so switching the thermometer off will clear these readings.

°C/°F - Slide the °C/°F switch on the back of the instrument to change between Centigrade and Fahrenheit.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT - The battery will need to be replaced when the instrument displays ' ' or if the display dims. Replace the battery with a 3 volt lithium coin cell (CR2032). The battery is located under the battery cover at the end of the instrument.

EMC/RFI - Instrument performance may be affected if operated within a high frequency radio field, such as near a mobile phone, or if subjected to an electrostatic shock.
